About Home & School Association

Founded in 1958, the Home & School Association (HSA) is a dedicated, highly active organization and a vital part of the St. Rita School Community. It organizes and supports both “fun” and “fundraising” events. The purpose of the HSA is to support quality Catholic education for the children at St. Rita School through a collaborative volunteer/school network of communications and activities. Our volunteers also participate in classroom projects, lunchroom supervision, library support, and as classroom mothers and fathers. The HSA works to promote the educational, spiritual, cultural, and social welfare of our school. Please take a moment to read our constitution to learn more about our objectives, laws, and responsibilities.

We require all St. Rita School (SRS) volunteers to be VIRTUS trained and have a background check on file. If you need forms for VIRTUS or a background check or you would like more information, please call Sr. Anne in our school office at (203) 248-3114.

Biography

About Katie Arcangelo

Hi, St. Rita School families! My name is Katie Arcangelo, and I’m honored to serve as your HSA president for the upcoming school year. This is my third year being part of the HSA and my second year as president. I am proud to be a St. Rita School alumna and feel so grateful to now have my own children walking the same halls—one in third grade, one in first grade, one in pre-kindergarten 4, and one at the Early Learning Center. I was even married at St. Rita Church in 2016, making this community feel even more like home. This year, my goal is to bring as many school and church families together as possible—building a strong, united community through fun events and meaningful fundraisers that help us continue to improve our wonderful school facility. I’m excited for all we will accomplish together!

About Robin Innaimo

My name is Robin Innaimo, and I’m excited to introduce myself to you. I currently serve as the first vice president of the Home and School Association, and this is my second year on the board. For the past three years, I also had the joy of chairing our Hospitality Committee, a role I recently passed along so another parent could share in the experience. My daughter, Gabriella, is in third grade and is the youngest of five children. We are so grateful to be part of this school community, and volunteering here has been a wonderful way to give back while getting to know so many of you. I look forward to working together to support our children, our teachers, and our school. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you ever have questions, ideas, or simply want to get involved—we are always happy to welcome more hands and hearts into our community.
