School Supply Lists

Our supply lists for the 2017-2018 school year are now available below. Take a look, and feel free to download them at your convenience.

Summer Learning

It may be summer, but that doesn’t mean our students should put learning on hold! Be sure to keep your child progressing by participating in our summer learning program. Please set aside some time to review the summer work posted on the Summer Learning page. We are looking forward to seeing each of our students in the new school year!

Volunteers Needed

Maker Fun Factory Vacation Bible School is looking for adult and teen volunteers to help plan, set up, manage stations, and lead small groups. It is a wonderful way to help our children learn about their faith and have fun while doing so. VBS isn’t possible without you, so please consider helping out. VBS is June 26-30 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Contact Megan Zinn at (203) 281.7522 or send an e-mail for more information about our imaginative, impacting adventure.

Summer Office Hours

The school office will be open during the summer months. Office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Have a safe and enjoyable summer!

Violin Lessons

St. Rita School is offering violin lessons during the 2017-2018 school year, continuing the program from St. Stephen’s School! We are offering individual, duo, or small group lessons and will base the duo or small group classes on age and ability. We will determine the day and times of lessons once we hear from families who have an interest.

Preschool through 2nd grade students will need to have a parent attend class and be willing to practice at home with their children. We do not require parents to attend class for 3rd through 8th grade students, although parents are always welcome. We do expect daily practice at home in order to get the most from having lessons.

Tuition for a duo or small group class is $180 per session (eight lessons: four to four and a half sessions a year). Individual instruction is $308 per session. All violin classes are half an hour, and music and violin rentals are an additional fee.

If you have an interest in violin lessons, please contact instructor Laura Wright via e-mail or phone at (203) 887.7306. An informational meeting will take place soon.

Going Green

The St. Rita School business office is going green, and we are encouraging our families to participate! Beginning in June 2017, any family that is set to receive invoices from SMART Tuition will receive them electronically, instead of through the mail. Individual families will still be able to opt out and select paper if they choose.

Home School Association Final Meeting Presentation
