What's in the News
With everything going on at St. Rita School, we always have something newsworthy to share. We enjoy letting you know about the great things our students are accomplishing and the important activities happening at school. Check back often!
Our last day of school is June 14, 2017. We will send home report cards on this day. Teachers will be available until June 16.
From April 20 to April 28, lunch will be in classrooms. We need volunteers for coverage during this time. If you can help, please contact your child’s teacher.
IOWA testing will take place from May 1-12 for students in grades 3-7. The IOWA assessments help determine how students are performing on nationwide standards. These assessments measure achievement in several important content areas including reading, English language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. Testing will take place most mornings until 10:00 a.m. Please be sure your child gets a good night sleep, eats breakfast, and arrives to school on time. Do not make any appointments for your child that will require him/her to miss out on the testing. We will send home results of your child’s performance on the IOWA tests by the end of the year.
We invite all grandparents and special persons to celebrate grandparent's/special person's day with us on Friday, May 5. Please join us in church for First Friday mass and the May crowning. After returning to school we will serve refreshments, and all guests may visit their grandchildren in the classrooms to learn about all the great things our students are learning. Please return the grandparent's/special person's day RSVP form to the school by Monday, May 1. We look forward to seeing you!
