National Catholic Schools Week

National Catholic Schools Week is on Sunday, January 25 through Saturday, January 31. This year’s theme, “Catholic Schools: United in Faith and Community,” emphasizes our commitment to academic excellence, faith development, community service, and future success. We have organized a variety of events to showcase how our community at St. Rita School is thriving.

  • Monday, January 26: Sock Day – Wear your favorite socks, and bring in a new pair to donate to the local shelter.
  • Tuesday, January 27: PJ Day – Bring in $1.00 for Connecticut Children’s Hospital
  • Wednesday, January 28: Patriotic Accessories Day – Wear red, white, and blue with your uniform.
  • Thursday, January 29: K–8 Bowling Day – Wear gym uniforms.
  • Friday, January 30: Volunteer Recognition and Bingo Day – Mass at 9:00 a.m., and all-school bingo at 1:30 p.m.
